Android On Raspberry Pi

Have you ever wanted a cheap android device? Well, now you can! We will be downloading and installing Android on a Raspberry Pi 3B! (or later, not 3A)

Things needed:

  • Monitor or touchscreen
  • Raspberry Pi 3B or later (3A cannot be used)
  • 8GB Micro SD card (this is the bare minimum)
  • Power supply
  • Mouse, Keyboard is optional

how do i get android?
  1.  Make an account on Emteria.com.emteria os website android raspberry pi
  2.  Download the Emteria.OS Installer for your computer system.emteria os download page
  3.  Open the downloaded file, and run the application.
  4.  Insert a 8 GB Micro SD card into your computer.
  5.  Open the installer and log in using your Emteria credentials.
  6.  Follow the steps for Raspberry Pi 3B/3B+emteria os installer raspberry pi 3B
  7.  After the installation has finished, eject the SD card and pop it into your Raspberry Pi 3B/3B+ .
  8.  Connect the Raspberry Pi to a monitor or television screen, keyboard, and mouse.
  9.  Plug in a micro USB cable into an adequate power supply and the Raspberry Pi.
  10.  Follow the setup process on your screen.

Installing Conky (Raspbian/Debian):

Today we shall be installing Conky on Raspbian (Stretch 9).

Equipment needed:

  • A Raspberry Pi 2+ (Not sure if it works on other Raspberry Pi)
  • Raspbian OS
  • Image writing software, Etcher
what is it?

Conky is a system GUI that reads your computer configuration such as RAM, CPU, SSD/HDD, Top Processes, etc. Conky is also configurable.
