How to fix a Mac’s Bluetooth Module when pairing does not work

Things needed:

  • Mac running El Capitan or later
  • Keyboard and mouse

Resetting the Mac Bluetooth Module:

    1. Start up your computer.
    2. Move your mouse to the Bluetooth widget on the desktop.
    3. Hold the shift and option key at the same time.
    4. Click on the Bluetooth widget.
    5. Scroll down to debug. Click “Reset the Bluetooth module”bluetooth image.jpg

 

  1. Click “Ok”. You Mac Bluetooth Module should now be reset and up and running properly again.
